Who we are
A cup of energy, served with a smile
Eggyolk Coffee is a Vietnamese coffee brand with one simple mission: to brew truly delicious cups of coffee for everyone, so that each new day can begin with an abundance of energy.
Our signature is egg coffee, the Hanoi classic born from ingenuity in difficult times. Around it we've built ten sunny spaces, a farm partnership in Quảng Trị and a family of take-home coffees, all designed to spread a little positivity.
Brand story
The moment the egg cracked open
When Eggyolk Coffee opened on July 2nd, 2021, no one thought it would have to close its doors just two weeks later, as the first wave of the pandemic hit Vietnam. Two years of social distancing and the recession that followed brought the mood of the whole country down.
Eggyolk would almost never have opened again if it weren't for our founder's trip to the coffee farm. The resilient, uplifting attitude of the farmers during those difficult times gave the team a new purpose: to get people energised and excited again every morning with a good cup of coffee, along with the positivity of those who make it.
In the middle of 2022 we resumed the project with deep immersion at the farm, sharing meals with the people growing our coffee and witnessing their optimistic spirit. We came back with the same positivity about the future, and the inspiration to bring that spirit to everyone.

Our symbol
The O & the yolk
Our symbol is the cross-section of an egg with a huge yolk, slanted seven degrees to feel familiar yet distinctive. It radiates shades of red, orange and yellow, impossible to ignore, and it can play the main character or a supporting role in the stories we tell.
The custom wordmark follows the same seven-degree slant, with ball terminals that give it an energetic rhythm. Everything is set in a single typeface, Lora, so the energy never breaks apart.

A unique collection of ceramics, designed and produced in collaboration with artisans at the renowned Bat Trang Ceramic Village, where attention is paid to materials, technique, safety and sustainability.
